Cet appartement de deux-pièces de 30m2 était autrefois un endroit sombre et compartimenté qui a été totalement rénové grâce à l'intervention de Estudio Hago. Les professionnels ont transformé les cinq petites pièces en un lieu très lumineux avec patio à Madrid. Outre cet atout important qui a emporté la décision de son propriétaire Alvaro, d'en faire l'acquisition, il était doté d'une belle hauteur sous plafond totalement inexploitée.
La première tâche des architectes a été d'abattre l'ensemble des cloisons existantes afin de créer un nouveau plan. De cinq pièces petites et étroites, il n'est resté que deux nouveaux volumes, l'un accueillant le salon avec sa cuisine design ouverte, et l'autre la chambre. Les éléments anciens présents comme les vieilles briques qui ont été peintes en blanc ont été conservées. Pour favoriser la lumière et la circulation entre les espaces, une grande ouverture vitrée a été créée entre la chambre et le salon/cuisine de cet appartement de deux-pièces de 30m2, qui semble désormais bien plus grand qu'avant.

This 30m2 one-bedroom flat was once a dark, compartmentalised space that has been completely renovated thanks to the work of Estudio Hago. The professionals transformed the five small rooms into a very bright space with a patio in Madrid. In addition to this important asset, which convinced its owner, Alvaro, to buy it, it also had a high ceiling that was totally unexploited.
The architects' first task was to demolish all the existing partitions in order to create a new floor plan. All that remained of the five small, narrow rooms were two new volumes, one housing the living room with its open-plan designer kitchen, and the other the bedroom. Old features such as the old bricks, which have been painted white, have been preserved. To encourage light and circulation between the spaces, a large glass opening was created between the bedroom and the living room/kitchen of this 30m2 two-bedroom flat, which now seems much larger than before.
