La céramiste Caro Malbran et sa famille ont transformé cette maison construite en style brutaliste dans les années 1970, en une maison contemporaine en Argentine pleine de leur énergie après des travaux. La maison était sombre et ne possédait que quelques petites ouvertures, mais a été transformée par ses soins et ceux de son mari Mariano, en une maison chaleureuse où leur personnalité s'est exprimée. L'extérieur gris béton a été complété avec du bois, qui réchauffe la façade.
À l'intérieur, ils ont peint toute la brique en blanc, enlevé l'ancienne moquette et agrandi les fenêtres. La lumière est devenue immédiatement plus présente et, avec elle, l'atmosphère a totalement changé. La décoration éclectique est très personnelle, reflétant bien la personnalité créative de cette artiste qui aime particulièrement la couleur. Ceramist Caro Malbran and her family have transformed a house built in the 1970s in a brutalist style, into a contemporary home in Argentina, full of their own energy, after some renovation work. The house was dark and had only a few small openings, but was transformed by her and her husband Mariano into a warm home where their personalities were expressed. The grey concrete exterior was complemented with wood, which warms up the façade.
Inside, they painted all the brickwork white, removed the old carpeting and enlarged the windows. The light immediately became more present and, with it, the atmosphere changed completely. The eclectic decor is very personal, reflecting the creative personality of this artist who is particularly fond of colour.
