Entre héritage national et design contemporain, cet appartement de 120m2 à Almaty marie avec finesse classicisme et modernité. Un équilibre subtil imaginé par les designers Aisha Adilshiyeva et Samat Moldir, les architectes à la tête du studio Ida Design Mates. Leurs clients rêvaient d’un intérieur calme et intemporel, loin des fioritures, mais plein de l'âme kazakhe . Les professionnels ont répondu avec un projet où chaque détail prend en compte ces désirs. Ils ont privilégié des tons naturels et des matériaux chaleureux, dans une atmosphère paisible. Et ils ont apporté des détails artisanaux de la région pour personnaliser une base assez neutre.
Le point d’orgue est sans aucun doute une mosaïque dans la cuisine, inspirée de "Fille avec le Souvenir", œuvre emblématique de Moldakhmet Kenbaev et Nikolai Tsivchinsky. Cette pièce unique insuffle une véritable identité kazakhe à l’appartement. Le plan a dû s’adapter à une contrainte majeure: une colonne porteuse au centre du hall. Loin d’être un obstacle, elle structure désormais la circulation et accueille une niche à livres, inattendue mais charmante. Dans les chambres, le confort prime. Celle du garçon reste sobre et ludique, celle de la fille douce et poétique. Les travaux de cet appartement de 120m2 à Almaty ont duré 8 mois, pour un résultat à la hauteur des espérances! Blending national heritage and contemporary design, this 120m² flat in Almaty elegantly combines classicism and modernity. It is a subtle balance created by designers Aisha Adilshiyeva and Samat Moldir, the architects at the helm of the Ida Design Mates studio. Their clients dreamed of a calm and timeless interior, far from frills, but full of Kazakh soul. The professionals responded with a project where every detail takes these desires into account. They favoured natural tones and warm materials, creating a peaceful atmosphere. And they brought in artisanal details from the region to personalise a fairly neutral base.
The highlight is undoubtedly a mosaic in the kitchen, inspired by ‘Girl with a Souvenir’, an iconic work by Moldakhmet Kenbaev and Nikolai Tsivchinsky. This unique piece infuses the flat with a true Kazakh identity. The plan had to adapt to a major constraint: a load-bearing column in the centre of the hall. Far from being an obstacle, it now structures the flow of traffic and houses an unexpected but charming book niche. In the bedrooms, comfort is paramount. The boy's room is understated and playful, while the girl's is soft and poetic. The renovation of the 120m2 flat in Almaty took eight months, with results that lived up to expectations!
