Cette vaste maison contemporaine au Canada au bord d’un lac a bénéficié d'une rénovation menée par Dart Studio. Elle a été pensée avec intelligence pour rassembler trois générations sous un même toit. À l’intérieur, la pierre de la cheminée monumentale réunit la famille dans le salon. Les plafonds en bois rythment les pièces et amplifient la sensation de réconfort. La lumière traverse les larges fenêtres et la vue sur l'eau est apaisante. La cuisine est le point de ralliement avec son grand îlot central convivial. Le bois clair, le marbre veiné et les touches de laiton dialoguent avec un bel équilibre.

This spacious contemporary house in Canada, located on the shores of a lake, has been renovated by Dart Studio. It has been cleverly designed to bring three generations together under one roof. Inside, the stone of the monumental fireplace brings the family together in the living room. The wooden ceilings give rhythm to the rooms and amplify the feeling of comfort. Light streams through the large windows and the view of the water is soothing. The kitchen is the gathering place with its large, convivial central island. Light wood, veined marble and touches of brass interact in a beautiful balance.
In the bedrooms, dark-framed beds and soft-toned textiles invite rest. The bathroom features a freestanding bathtub facing the natural surroundings. Natural materials converse with each other, with stone and wood taking centre stage in this contemporary home. Facing the lake, the house is made up of fragmented volumes and sloping roofs. It seems to dialogue with the forest that surrounds it. The natural wood cladding and dark metal roof are not spectacular, because here everything is based on the balance of proportions.
