The Togo has been around for 53 years without losing its appeal, and continues to captivate audiences everywhere. We’re talking about a true French icon, found in living rooms around the world. Ligne Roset is launching a groundbreaking collaboration with the German fashion house Hugo Boss. The result is eye-catching and well worth a look. Since 1973, designer Michel Ducaroy has established his instantly recognizable foam silhouette. This low, enveloping, almost sculptural sofa has made its mark on design history. We still appreciate its generous comfort.

We love to curl up in it. So when Ligne Roset decided to entrust it to Hugo Boss, expectations were high. And the result lives up to what we hoped for.

A first: the Togo in two materials

For the first time, the Togo is available in a two-material design. The brand offers this variation that transforms the perception of the model. Sturdy leather meets supple fabric on the seat, creating an interesting contrast. This approach goes beyond a simple change in upholstery; it offers a fresh perspective.

Contrasting stitching, directly inspired by the design codes of the Hugo Boss fashion house, highlights the armchair’s lines. It adds a graphic precision that complements the Togo’s suppleness. The balance works well, and the piece retains its identity while evolving. We recognize the original piece, but something has changed.

Made-in-France craftsmanship, intact

Ligne Roset’s French workshops craft each sofa to order with meticulous care. Lead times start at around twelve weeks, reflecting the demanding nature of artisanal production. Artisans handcraft the signature tufting with great precision. Each piece is unique, with its own subtle variations and distinct character. Ligne Roset includes a certificate of authenticity with every model produced. This edition appeals to collectors and connoisseurs of cutting-edge design. This model is undoubtedly a collector’s item.

Fashion and furniture: same battle

This collaboration reflects a broader shift in how interiors are conceived. Furniture adopts the vocabulary of fashion: precise, tactile, expressive. The living space becomes an extension of personal style.

Boss doesn’t stop at the armchair. A special capsule collection accompanies the Togo x Hugo Boss sofa collaboration: the limited-edition Gary sneaker, the Madison bag, a cushion, and a throw. The collection is available online and in stores. A complete ecosystem, from the living room to the wardrobe.

The Togo x Hugo sofa was presented at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris from April 16 to 19, 2026, and then at Milan Design Week from April 20 to 26. The piece is now available in a limited edition at select Ligne Roset stores and at the Boss flagship stores in Paris and Milan. It can be found on the Roset website by clicking this link.
