L'architecte Hernán Álvarez a conçu cette maison simple et familiale située dans un domaine sportif célèbre en Argentine, le Hindú Club, pour que les propriétaires puissent partager leurs week-ends avec leurs quatre enfants et petits-enfants. Si les lignes géométriques de la maison sont discrètes, elle recèle à l'intérieur une véritable personnalité grâce aux nombreux souvenirs de famille, de meubles et d'objets choisis par Clara Degrossi, l'une des filles, une designer associée du studio Lacroze.
Le travail de conception a été particulièrement soigné en ce qui concerne les espaces communs comme la grande pièce de vie regroupant le salon avec une cheminée, la salle à manger, et la cuisine ouverte, ainsi que les extérieurs, où les terrasses abritées permettent de profiter du jardin tout en restant à l'ombre. Cette maison simple et familiale a deux étages ce qui permet de bien séparer les espaces de repos de ceux de réception. On trouve dans chaque pièce des œuvres d'art héritées d'une grand-tante qui travailla autrefois à l'UNESCO, a vécu en Europe et qui à son retour au pays, elle emporté sa précieuse collection qu'elle a transmise en souvenir aux générations suivantes. Architect Hernán Álvarez designed this simple, family-friendly house in Argentina's famous Hindú Club sports complex so that the owners could share their weekends with their four children and grandchildren. While the house's geometric lines are simple, the interior has a real personality thanks to the many family souvenirs, furniture and objects chosen by Clara Degrossi, one of the daughters, an associate designer at the Lacroze studio.
Particular care has been taken with the design of the communal areas, such as the large living room with its fireplace, dining room and open kitchen, and the exterior, where the sheltered terraces allow you to enjoy the garden while remaining in the shade. This simple family home has two floors, which allows for a clear separation of the resting areas from the reception areas. In each room there are works of art inherited from a great-aunt who once worked for UNESCO, lived in Europe and on her return to the country took her precious collection with her as a memento for subsequent generations.
