Ce studio de 30m2 modernisé démontre comment un espace compact peut devenir un lieu moderne, lumineux et très pratique. Il est situé dans une résidence conçue par l'architecte allemand Michael Graue. La designer Dina Maslennikova a pensé chaque zone pour répondre aux besoins d’une propriétaire créative et exigeante. Elle voulait un lieu moderne offrant un vrai bureau, une cuisine fonctionnelle et plusieurs rangements. La professionnelle a imaginé un lieu optimisé, profitant de sa hauteur généreuse et de sa belle lumière. La pièce longue et haute a inspiré une ambiance évoquant une cabine de bateau confortable tournée vers l’horizon. L’idée était de créer un lieu accueillant permettant de travailler, recevoir et se détendre aisément.
Dès qu'elle a vu cet espace, la designer a pensé à la maison de Le Corbusier sur la Côte d'Azur et la maison d'été conçue par Charlotte Perriand en 1934. Ces chefs-d'œuvre architecturaux sont des exemples parfaits de la combinaison de l'ergonomie, de la fonctionnalité et du confort dans un petit espace. La pièce allongée, avec ses plafonds de 4 mètres de haut et sa baie vitrée face à l'entrée, est traitée comme la cabine d'un paquebot. Le rangement occupe trois côtés et se divise en deux niveaux séparés par une teinte graphite. Les matériaux restent constants pour donner une continuité agréable malgré la surface très compacte. This modernised 30m2 studio shows how a compact space can become a modern, bright and very practical place. It is located in a residence designed by German architect Michael Graue. Designer Dina Maslennikova designed each area to meet the needs of a creative and demanding owner. She wanted a modern space with a real office, a functional kitchen and plenty of storage. The professional imagined an optimised space, taking advantage of its generous height and beautiful light. This long, high room inspired an atmosphere reminiscent of a comfortable ship's cabin facing the horizon. The idea was to create a welcoming space where one could work, entertain and relax with ease.
As soon as she saw this space, the designer thought of Le Corbusier's house on the French Riviera and the summer house designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1934. These architectural masterpieces are perfect examples of the combination of ergonomics, functionality and comfort in a small space. The elongated room, with its 4-metre-high ceilings and bay window facing the entrance, is treated like the cabin of an ocean liner. Storage occupies three sides and is divided into two levels separated by a graphite shade. The materials remain consistent to provide a pleasant continuity despite the very compact surface area.
