In a tiny flat like this, every centimetre counts, but here nothing has been left to chance. This 19m2 studio, with clever layout, was designed for a student. It turns constraints into assets through smart organisation and an energetic colour palette. It all starts with a simple, minimalist base to keep the overall budget in check. The designers at ‘Home Staging with Love’ then structured the space with precision to create several distinct zones.

A frosted glass partition creates a soft boundary between the bed and the main living area. Light flows freely, preventing any feeling of confinement in this small space. A colourful frieze runs along the ceiling, visually connecting the home’s different functions. This detail acts as a graphic thread, adding rhythm without overwhelming the space.

The different zones

The entrance hall plays a discreet yet strategic role, featuring well-integrated storage that’s practical for everyday use. A mirrored wardrobe visually enlarges the space and accommodates clothes and bulky items. Next to it, wall hooks allow coats and bags to be hung up quickly upon entering. The small green bench adds a welcoming touch and already hints at the chosen colour scheme. This entrance sets the tone, with a dynamic and organised atmosphere from the moment you step into the studio.

The compact kitchen contains everything you need. The wall units incorporate appliances and storage, whilst the worktop remains uncluttered. Its terracotta cabinet fronts add character without darkening the space, thanks to the white elements. Each drawer conceals a practical solution for optimising the storage of utensils and provisions. The black round table, accompanied by green chairs, creates a pleasant dining area. A painting serving as a unifying theme for the selected colours adds an artistic touch.

The sleeping area replaces the sofa with a proper, comfortable bed. Positioned in a corner, it also becomes a relaxation area thanks to the cushions and bedspread, which allow you to sit there. The graphic wallpaper adds texture and catches the eye with its dose of dopamine. Nearby, a desk placed by the window provides the workspace a student needs. The bathroom is simple yet original thanks to the coloured grouting between the tiles. This subtle detail transforms the atmosphere and proves that a small touch can make all the difference.
