Ikea unveils Soluppgång (Sunrise), an outdoor collection designed to help you enjoy the outdoors, inspired by Japanese komorebi and the Scandinavian lifestyle. This limited-edition collection invites you to savor every moment spent outdoors, even the simplest ones. The concept is based on a subtle blend of Nordic spirit and Japanese poetry. Komorebi—that light dancing through the leaves—becomes a true source of inspiration here. Perhaps you’ve seen Wim Wenders’ film, Perfect Days, where the protagonist takes numerous photos that illustrate this concept. We observe what’s happening around us. A mug and a hot drink, a patch of grass, a tree—and the scene is set.

 

What’s in this collection?

The collection features twenty-three products designed to accompany every moment spent outdoors. It includes a cast-iron grill, a folding table, and an easy-to-carry stool. The enameled steel tableware lends a touch of ruggedness to impromptu meals. Each item embraces simplicity while remaining pleasant to use both in the garden and at home. The message is clear: enjoying yourself should never require complicated planning.

In the kitchen, IKEA adds bamboo accessories, a cooler, and a portable LED lantern. Light becomes a central element, pleasantly extending the evenings.
