This 20sqm tiny house is a wellness micro-home
NestOff has designed a 20sqm Hungarian tiny house that features a Finnish sauna, a jacuzzi, and comfortable accommodations for two
The Hungarian company NestOff has transformed this 20sqm tiny house into a wellness micro-home, complete with a sauna and a jacuzzi. It features a simple design: wood siding, a gently sloping roof, and large picture windows that frame the landscape like paintings.
Inside, the designers have arranged the space in a classic layout: a bedroom on a raised platform with storage, a living area, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. Nothing extraordinary so far. It’s what comes next that’s surprising.
Outside the tiny house is a Finnish-style wooden sauna. A fully equipped and comfortable space, featuring a real wood-burning stove and a bench, where the dry heat reaches 80 Celsius degrees (176 F).
Right next to it, an outdoor hot tub completes the setup. The sauna-hot tub combination, often associated with Scandinavian lodges or high-end mountain chalets, fits here within a few square meters.
Wood dominates the interior. A wood-paneled ceiling, light-colored hardwood floors, and natural-toned woodwork. The color palette remains deliberately neutral, white, beige, light brown, so as not to overwhelm the space. The large windows allow light to flood the room and create a visual continuity with the outdoors.
This isn’t the first tiny house to focus on well-being. But it takes the concept further than most by incorporating a sauna and a jacuzzi to enhance the experience even more. The market for tiny houses for short stays, weekends, and vacations, is growing rapidly in Europe. Vacationers are seeking a change of scenery, spaces to disconnect, and a return to simple pleasures. A hot bath, dry heat, wood. This tiny house in Hungary (a beautiful country worth discovering) undoubtedly meets this demand.
